On My Knees, Experiencing God Through Devotional Thoughts on Prayer: Standard-Size Daybrightener
Published in Paperback by Garborg's Heart 'N' Home (November, 1998)

Absolutely WonderfulThis book is one of the best devotional books on prayer that I have ever read. It will get you thinking in the morning and you will not be able to forget it all day.

Ornamentation According to C.P.E. Bach and J.J. Quantz
Published in Paperback by 1stBooks Library (July, 2001)
Average review score:

A Must-Have for Aspiring Classical FlutistsDr. Palmer has exhaustively researched ornamentation from the classical era, synthesizing the works of Quantz and Bach and contributing a considerable amount of original scholarship. The many graphical examples of ornamentation in the book make the narrative very easy to follow. You'll want to keep your flute nearby as you read this book, so that you can experiment with the affects recommended by Dr. Palmer.

The Oswald Chambers Daily Devotional Bible/New King James Version
Published in Hardcover by Thomas Nelson (October, 1992)
Average review score:

exceptional devotionalI have been reading this Bible through for 9 years and love it more each year. The insight into the Word from Oswald Chambers only enhances what the Holy Spirit shows us in the Word. Oswald Chambers loved Jesus Christ and listened so intently to the Holy Spirit as He spoke to him, that the devotionals placed before each day's reading only deepen the spiritual insight. How many books can you say that when you finish it on December 31, you can't wait to start reading it all over again on January 1?!!!

Oswald Chambers: The Best from All His Books
Published in Hardcover by Thomas Nelson (May, 1987)
Average review score:

Another lesson from Oswald to simply be still...The writings of Oswald Chambers have long made me a dedicated reader and student of the black and white simplicity of his understanding of how God works in our lives. This second gathering of the best of all his books is yet another example of just how deeply in-tune Oswald was to his path...and offers a reminder with every subject listed. "You can never give another person that which you have found," Chambers wrote, "but you can make him homesick for what you have." You will definitely want this. Shelia...Fendersac@AOL.com

Our Brilliant Heritage: Containing Grow Up into Him As He Walked If You Will Be Perfect Disciples Indeed
Published in Paperback by Discovery House Pub (October, 1998)
Average review score:

A breathtaking accomplishmentFirst rate. Chambers succeeds in doing that rare thing: writing a book whose title only makes sense if you type it into babelfish and translate it into German, then Portuguese and then back into English again.

Overtures and Preludes in Full Score
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (November, 1996)
Average review score:

my favorite scoresContains Rienzi, Der Fliegende Hollander, Tannhauser, and Die Meistersinger overtures, as well as Lohengrin, Tristan und Isolde, and Parsifal preludes. Great works. Most of the engraving is quite clear, with the exception of Rienzi, which looks like a grainy photocopy (at times difficult to distinguish between natural and sharp accidentals, etc.). All in all, a wonderful resource.

Peer Gynt: Suites Nos. 1 and 2 in Full Score
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (April, 1997)
Average review score:

Excellent release from Dover! This score has become kind of like a treasure for me. It is the first score I got (and is actually the only one I have) and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It has some great historical facts on the back which helped me to understand the music a little better. I have also been practicing learning to read scores by using this one and it really has helped me. The notes are very clear and easy to read and you can hardly see through the paper at all. On a few occasions, I have even played with the recording of the suites using the score which made it even more enjoyable. Overall, great release. I urge anyone who loves Grieg and the Peer Gynt suites to get this score.

The Piano Concerti in Full Score
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (November, 1986)
Average review score:

The conscience of the piano.Liszt was the composer and pianist that modify the piano technique. He used the whole arm and the body as an alone thing and not only the fingers as it was before. His imense work for piano include various diferent styles of composition. Religious, Sinistre, Romantic, mistic, Religious, technical, trancedental, .... He was really the master of the piano and this full score of his concerts contains all the difficulties and the essence of the work of this wonderfull composer. Definitively Indispensable in music literature.

The Piano Concertos in Full Score
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (January, 1989)
Average review score:

Indestructible--Frederic Chopin would have approved. The I. Paderewski edition of Chopin's Piano Concerto's No. 1 and 2 is the best edition I've looked at. The orchestral part is intricately transcribed for the second piano. Like all Dover products, this book and its binding are virtually indestructible...a major plus for the monumental task of mastering the greatest concertos of them all (Concerto No.2 in F minor). A good buy!
